On the mend
All out well wishes to Dougie 'Macca' Nolan after a terrible fall off a 2 storey building last week, after being rushed to the Royal Melbourne, he is slowly on the mend which is great to see. Hopefully we'll see him pull on the Montrose colours again before the end of the season once his headache is gone!
We wish you all the best for a speedy recovery Dougie.

Montrose Soccer Club supporting Call to Arms

Congratulations and many thanks to the Montrose and Mornington Players that supported Call to Arms on Sunday 18th July.
We raised $200 to go towards Cancer Research. Hopefully we can double that next year.
The facts about cancer
1 in 2 men will be diagnosed with cancer by the time they turn 85.
More than 62,500 Australian men are expected to be diagnosed with cancer this year.
While cancer is one of the leading causes of death among Australian men, around one third of all cancers can be prevented through healthy lifestyle choices.
Excluding non-melanoma skin cancers, the most common cancers facing men in Australia are prostate, bowel, melanoma and lung cancer. Prostate cancer is more common in men than breast cancer is in women.
