Lady Diana Memorial Golf Day 2006
It was a great day had by all, with the weather being kind, not too hot or cold. A big thanks to all those that attended.
We kept our fluids up as we played the Ringwood course as you do and eventually the ambrose game finished with team of Paul, George, James and "young Micheal" , scuse the pun, winning the tournament. Must add that it was a close contest, Micheal did well and sored a prize for nearest the pin, being under the age of 18 he was not allowed the prize of a selection of whisky's from around the globe. The longest drive was picked up by Ray who also scored a whisky selection.
After more fluids it was off to the Manhattan Hotel for even more fluids, then dinner were the table of 16 booked became 22. Nice meal I think we all agree, then back to the main bar, for yes ........ more fluids, whilst watching the Victory Vs Sydney match.
We quickly transferred from the closed bar to the open gaming room, yes ............more fluids, takes it out of you this golfing.
The successful day ended sometime in the early hours of Sunday morning and no .........we couldn't quite handle more fluids.
Looking forward to next year.
The Cat
Rumor has it, that our boys were thrown out of the bar, for not obeying the 'caps off after 9' rule.
